Comments: Dr. Prasarn was the best option we could have found for my wife’s care. He was the second opinion for her upper back pain which included numbness in her arm and weakness. The first doctor we visited instantly suggested a fusion without much discussion for any alternatives.
Dr. Prasarn was able to provide more information, and an alternative procedure (a disc replacement) which fit my wife’s medical needs and lifestyle. My wife is in her 30s and an ex-athlete, so she still remains active. From there, the care she received was of the highest quality. All of the follow-up appointments were great and we were given a lot of information and feedback. The surgery was a success without any issues and just 4 months later, my wife was able to perform normal activities and above. She was able to go white water rafting, through a rope course many feet above the ground, and other activities.
